Dear Lovejoy Community,
It is with great excitement that I ask you again to support my candidacy for Trustee on the Lovejoy School Board. As a sitting board member, a parent, and alumnus of Lovejoy ISD, I have the deepest appreciation of our legacy, as well as the vision and expectation that Lovejoy ISD will continue on our path towards setting the standard for excellence in public education. There has been a strong foundation set, but there is much more to accomplish on our journey. As a community we have the responsibility to stretch towards this vision together. My vision and expectation is that Lovejoy ISD creates the model learning experience for each student. Until this is reached, there is much more work to be done. Please join me in this pursuit. I appreciate your support. We are fortunate to have the most talented, innovative teachers, staff and administrators in the business of education in Lovejoy ISD. I am extremely confident we will achieve excellence with the right board leadership and priorities. Here are my leadership priorities for the district.

- Focus on each student reaching their full academic and social potential.
- Each student is exposed to learning and experiences that best prepare them for continued growth, challenges, and opportunities ahead.
- Academic achievement - Exemplary rating is cost of entry, along with other benchmarks that set the standard including AP testing.
- Lead in recruiting, retaining, and investment in the development of teachers.
- Expansion and quality of programs.
- Fiscal responsibility and resource optimization.
- Thorough and transparent communication with our community.
- Clear goals and objectives with measured impact.
As an executive leader and experienced Lovejoy School Board Trustee, I have the skills, passion, and strategic vision to help lead and guide Lovejoy into new phases of growth and legislative landscape. Hard, critical decisions will be in our future-- and I am ready to continue to lead. I have been honored to serve the district the past 3.5 years as a Trustee and thank you for that opportunity again. I believe in these kids, our parents, our teachers and this community - and together we can set the standard of excellence in public education.
I appreciate your confidence, support and your vote!
Proud to be a Lovejoy Leopard!
"Our family enthusiastically encourages our friends and neighbors to vote to retain Chad Collins on the Lovejoy ISD School Board.
As a parent leader, community volunteer, and successful businessman, Chad brings to the school board a solid view of how to create balanced, high standards in a growing school system. He believes in student-centered policies and programs and is a proponent of transparency. We are comfortable asking his opinion and respect his knowledge of the issues facing a school system like ours. Coming from a family of administrators and educators, we appreciate Chad’s respect for the men and women who are shaping the foundation of our children’s lives outside the home.
People running for the school board deserve serious respect and praise for their desire to ensure excellent education and schools for our children. In our opinion, Chad Collins is an outstanding candidate who deserves such respect and praise for three reasons: 1) he is a successful businessman who understands financial accountability, 2) he listens well to people with different views, and 3) his family has roots in the community and is passionate about anything and everything Lovejoy.
Please take the time to read about Chad or speak to him personally about his candidacy. We think you will find his energy contagious, his background solid, and his intentions honest. With our busy lives, we need to be confident that our school board is taking care of the details while building our future. We need to trust they will be fair and competent with the system that cradles our children to adulthood. "
